Day 3 Sun Full day at leisure of enjoy an optional morning tour of the Grand Place. Stroll the sprawling courtyards and visit the reception rooms of the of the royal residence, a gem of Thai architecture. Day 5 Tues Today, visit Angkor Thom. The 12th Century fortified royal city with five monumental gates encircled by a moat. Inside the walled city, visit the most important monuments including the Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeakas (Celestial Palace), the Terrance of Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Visit Angkor Wat, the temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and world famous for its beauty and splendor. Dinner this evening at a local restaurant (B,L,D): SIEM REAP
Day 6. Wed Today begins with sunrise at Angkor Wat. Visit Thommanon Temple, Chau Say Tevoda. Ta Keo and Ta Prohm which remains in a jungle setting. Continue to the 12th Century Buddhist Banteay Kdei Temple, Srah Srang, the five towers of Prasat Kravan and Preah Khan. Day. 8. Fri This morning, a tour of Ho Chi Minh includes Notre Dame Cathedral, the French-style Central Post office, City Hall, Opera House, Jade Emperor Pagoda, the former Presidential Palace, and the War Museum. Visit Ben Thanh Market, one of the bustling city markets. Continue to the Giac Lam Pagoda, then visit Cholon (Chinatown) and Thien Hau Pagoda. Balance of the day at leisure (B): HO CHI MINH

Day 11, Mon Full day at leisure or enjoy an optional full day boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, the most impressive of Hue’s pagoda and tombs. Drive to Halong and discover Halong Bay, listed as World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea.” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets from the sea, man of them containing beautiful grottoes.
